Literary Hill BookFest
Celebrating Books and Authors on Capitol Hill

Margaret Rodenberg is the author of Finding Napoleon, a novel based on a romantic novella written by Napoleon Bonaparte. In her book, she intersperses segments of Bonaparte’s own semi-autobiographical work with her own richly imagined tale to tell the story of his upbringing, his battles, and his final days in exile. Rodenberg became interested in the history of France when she lived there as a teen with her US Navy family, who also resided on the Hill for more than 30 years.
