Dan Fitzgerald is the creator of The Maer Cycle, a series of fantasy novels featuring a race of hairy man-beasts whose legend fuels the nightmares of the townspeople who live in the nearby mountains. The series began with Hollow Road, and has continued with The Archive and The Place Below.  Dan Fitzgerald lives on Capitol Hill with his wife, twin boys, and two cats.
