Literary Hill BookFest
Celebrating Books and Authors on Capitol Hill

Colleen Shogan is a prolific mystery writer who has worked as a senior executive at the Library of Congress and as a legislative staffer in the Senate. She is currently a Senior Vice President at the White House Historical Association. Her Washington Whodunit series, which features Hill staffer Kit Marshall and her “merry band of politicos-turned-detectives” now boasts six titles, with a seventh coming later this year: Stabbing in the Senate (which won a Next Generation Award), Homicide in the House, Calamity at the Continental Club, K Street Killing, Gore in the Garden (which takes place at the US Botanic Garden), Larceny at the Library (which takes place at the Library of Congress, of course), and the forthcoming Dead as a Duck.
